My recent stay at Hostal Hidalgo was truly a home away from home. The staff, especially Arturo, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even cooked for us multiple times. The living room with Netflix on the TV was a cozy bonus. The hostel had everything we needed including a great kitchen and a rooftop for my morning workouts. The bed was comfortable and there were fans in the room to keep us cool. The location was excellent, with plenty of vegan restaurants nearby. Despite the noise from the busy street, I managed to have a peaceful sleep with the help of earplugs. I highly recommend this hostel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at a friendly hostel in a great location. The staff, particularly the manager Arturo, were extremely friendly and helpful. The hostel had a beautiful kitchen with all the necessary amenities, including a blender, making cooking a breeze. The cleanliness of the hostel was well-maintained thanks to the diligent cleaning ladies. I also enjoyed the cozy living room where I could relax and watch Netflix. Great location within walking distance of downtown area. Lovely large communal spaces, including a sociable open space kitchen/dining area and a nice living room.- Friendly staff who create a welcoming atmosphere
Quite noisy at night due to being situated on a main road. Some of the first floor toilets were not very clean

Mind-blowing staff, especially Arturo who cooked for us and is so kind 3. Super cool living room with Netflix on TV. Jaw-droppingly friendly and respectful people. Stayed longer because it was just too awesome. Close to center and public transportation. Hardworking and nice cleaning ladies. Met some really cool guests. Appreciated the kind gesture of giving me a two beds room instead of the female dorm. Kitchen is big and well-equipped. AMAZING location near bars and restaurants. Arturo recommended an epic Tequila tour. Free Wi-Fi, shared kitchen, laundry, bar/lounge area.

We had a great stay at Hostal Hidalgo! The staff was incredibly helpful, and they even spoke English, which made communication easier for us. The rooms were clean and nicely designed. We particularly enjoyed the open equipped kitchen with free breakfast. The rooftop shower had strong water pressure and clean towels, which was a nice touch. We had a fantastic time at this hostel! The location couldn't have been better, right between the vibrant nightlife and historical sights. The cleanliness of the property was impressive, and the breakfast provided a good variety. The rooftop area was a great spot to relax. The big lockers gave us peace of mind for our belongings.
Although there were a few drawbacks, like the noise from the busy street and the lack of natural light in some rooms, our overall experience was still enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hostel to others!

The kitchen was well-equipped with almost everything you could need, including a blender for convenient cooking. Additionally, the location of the hostel was great, close to many places to eat and drink.
The noise level at the hostel was quite high, especially due to the busy street next to it. It would be advisable to bring earplugs for a peaceful sleep.
